National History Day Project - Jacob - 12-24-2014 11:47 AM

Hi guys, I haven't checked in in a while.

So for World History, I am supposed to have been working on a National History Day topic involving anything besides America this entire semester. The theme is "leadership and legacy." The project is due Friday Jan 9th and I haven't even started it yet or thought about it.

Did anyone have to do the NHD project? How did you get started on it? Any helpful advice/guidance? And shit if anyone has a project they used in the past as a guide that would be even better.

Thanks guys, hoping to be more active on here. I tend to read a lot and not post Razz

Make a cardboard cutout of Joseph Stalin or Slobodan Milošević

Do it on the Viking Age, Preferably on the Great Heathen Army around the beginning time.

Oh god, leadership.

Perhaps you can invest your time in the governments of the Han Dynasty in China. It's impressive how the Chinese have managed to stay united despite the number of different languages and cultures that exist over there, and different kinds of climates, topographies, etc.

The government of Tudor England is worth studying as well, or perhaps India.

It's only impressive at how well they were able to murder and scheme.

Any great government has become great through blood and gut.
