Honestly, this is what you're concerned over?

Elementary material. Now I'm aware that mathematics is probably the worst taught subject in the compulsory schooling curriculum, and that the whole compulsory thing dissuades one from learning it, but this is basic stuff.

A; B; Third one is vague due to a broken image or whatever.

I suggest you read this.

I retook it and passed.

Btw, VR, there's a difference between Algebra I and arithmetic.

>implying Algebra I is difficult

my sides

So much for the Flynn effect, eh?

That's middle school (about 6th grade) material in European countries, especially Eastern.

Then maybe it's the old school's fault...

We learned nothing but arithmetic up until Pre-Algebra in 7th grade. I'm in 8th now.

Btw, Maddox's blog is about as honest as Cracked. Except Cracked is funnier.

It's the U.S. system in general.

You guys are pretty much the experimentation grounds for compulsory schooling, ever since you copied the Prussian model in the 1850s. All the bullshit gets laid upon you, and the U.S. standard of public education is abysmally retarded.
