Asian Zing Chicken Sauce: Mildly Spicy/Sweet. Serves 3-4


Ingredients: Cornstarch-2 tsp.
Rice Wine Vinegar-4 tsp.
Corn Syrup-1/2 cup
Sugar-1/3 cup
Chili Garlic Sauce-1/4 cup
Soy Sauce-1 Tbl.
Lemon Juice-1 tsp.
Ground Ginger-1/4 tsp.
Salt-1/4 tsp.
Minced Garlic-1/4 tsp.


Instructions:

Step 1: Dissolve cornstarch in rice wine vinegar in a small bowl. Set aside.

Step 2: Mix other ingredients in a small sauce pan.

Step 3: Combine with dissolved corn starch in sauce pan

Step 4: Heat on medium/low setting until boils. Stir frequently. Remove from heat.

Step 5: Chill until ready.

This sauce is a spicy/sweet sauce. It is great for any kind of chicken, best on wings. Use a sauce baster to apply to chicken.

Small bump.

I tried to make a batch of it earlier and forgot the corn syrup. Harder than concrete after boiling. Yuck

I made a double batch of it and my step dad took it to work. A whole bowl full. There goes my lunch plans. Laugh
