How to put in an avatar - WildFire - 02-11-2007 04:26 AM

First, your chosen avatar needs to be at or below 15kb.
Then save it to your destop like shown below

[Image: step1.jpg]

Then go to photobucket, and upload it like so.

[Image: step2.jpg]

You may have to create an account, but if you already do, then just do the following.

Step 2:
[Image: stepthree.jpg]

Step 3:
[Image: stepfour.jpg]

Step 4:
[Image: stepfive.jpg]

Step 5:
[Image: stepsix.jpg]

Yeah, except your idea could theoretically leech the bandwith off of someone's avatar, unless SS hosts the picture files on their own.

Besides, I'd say it's just good practice anyway, to upload your own copy to photobucket / imageshack, just so you can use it all you want, with your own bandwith.

There are three options: upload from computer, upload from internet, and link. Look at the three text boxes and their labels.

wow some one sooooo edited that half that stuffs been retyped.... but imageshack does work i use it for almost everything
