funny/weird/scary orginisations - Pyrokinetic_Punker - 12-13-2007 01:35 PM

today I was reading about NAMBLA (North American Man-Boy Love Association) and WBC (Westboro Baptist Church) and I have to say they are probably the two most fucked up "organisations" that I know of. I'm interested in this kinda stuff so who else knows of some weird group of people who have coalesced and formed an "organisation"?

- Coma Girl - 12-13-2007 09:35 PM

hmm.... i should know a lot of these...

- Darthmat - 12-13-2007 10:34 PM

I agree with Wolf about NAMBLA.

But the most annoying organizations/special interest groups: Black Separatists, White Separatists, KKK, The Phelps family and the Westboro Baptist Church, aaaand... damn. Can't think of anymore racist ones :/

While this isn't weird, there is this organization that claims the world is flat. I can't remember if it was a joke or not, but they claim their points so well that the obviously right side can't argue back.

Also, the OTHER NAMBLA (National Association of Marlon Brando Look Alikes)

I'd like to see some of these arguements.

Doesn't "organization" imply that there's some kind of organized structure? .... if so... where is it? Laugh

- Rebelnerd - 12-15-2007 11:09 AM

it's a waste of time and ink!

- Pyrokinetic_Punker - 12-17-2007 09:45 AM

I put "unnecessary" u's in words too :( Australia had strong ties with England and stuff...but yeah, back to the original topic. Another really fucked up orginisation is Children Of God, or The Family Of Love. They're these weird hippy people who kidnap and molest children...

- Alucard483 - 12-17-2007 10:02 AM

LOL. At times I actaually type british without even thinking about it. For instance I spell color colour somtimes. And I can never spell amour right so i just go with the brit way. As for the labor party I really have no info on them so I have no input however if its anyrealtion to a workers party (union) then I support it

- Pyrokinetic_Punker - 12-17-2007 12:17 PM

kind of off topic but I've noticed Americans spell the word doughnut "donut". It kinda fits the stereotype that Americans are lazy...since you guys spell nearly all words shorter than us. Apart from spelled, in Australia (and England I presume) we spell it "spelt".

- Bob Dole - 12-17-2007 01:19 PM

Pfft. Lazier, or more efficient?

- Alucard483 - 12-17-2007 01:31 PM

Id say its a mizture of both

- Bob Dole - 12-17-2007 01:33 PM

Yeah. But seriously, who cares how you spell a word? As long as it's correct in some form of the accepted language, it's all good.
